- Identify the basic research question as stated by the authors.
- Identify a dependent variable and independent variable in each article.
- Identify the level of measurement of each.
- Find an example of a descriptive and an inferential statistic in each article.
Review the sample description on p. 292; describe the sample. What is the sample size? Is it a random sample? What are the important attributes of the participants described by the researcher? (e.g., age, race, etc.)
